The Tarpon hook is a great all around j-hook. Works well with ballyhoo and strip baits, with a slight tuna bend and high strength to diameter ratio this hook is perfect for most offshore game species including small billfish. With a non-welded eye this hook can also be easily opened up and attached to a second or even a third hook if a multiple hook rig is desired.
